The WNYC logo is inspired by the New York City skyline and the equalizers found in sound equipment. The WNYC logos below are the available color options for placement. 

When selecting a logo for print, use the logotype with tune-in information. When selecting a logo for digital, use the logo without tune-in information. 

NOTE: The N-Y-C letters are always transparent to the background. They are only white when on a white background; they are black on a black background and when on a photo, the photo background shows through. 

The red in our logo is supported by the neutrals black and white.

The primary type family is Gotham, inspired by New York City's vernacular signage. Our secondary type family is  Mercury, which can be used as a text font but never a headline.
